＜Animal Cafe＞ ＜Relax＞
Recently animal cafes are on the rise and you can play with many different kinds of animal. At Candy Fruit Usagi no Yakata you can play with rabbits, as the name “usagi” suggests. The staff are all female. However, they are not maids but rather “bunny girls”. (Left: Tenshi; Right: Stella) You can interact with bunnies and bunny girls at the same time. It is a very Akiba-style place.
Yochi Yochi, a French Lop, just loves to eat. The regular customers enjoy watching him eat.
Izumi, the Holland Lop, is also a popular bunny. In total, there are 22 rabbits of 6 different breeds, including the Netherland Dwarf, Lionhead rabbit, Mini Rex, and Mini rabbit (mix). All the rabbits are calm and will not bite except in a desperate situation.
There are instructions and an agreement to sign for first time customers. Foreign tourists will be happy to know that the menu and agreement forms are available in English too. You pay per hour, with kids under 5 going for free and elementary school children (under 12) paying half price! It is a great spot to visit as a family.
This special item, the Rabbit Snack, is bound to make you super popular with the rabbits (¥200 including tax).
You can request for the rabbits you want to be let out of their cages and onto the floor. However, some of the rabbits are very protective of their territory and only one of these rabbits can be out on the floor at any one time. Therefore, customers' requests for these rabbits will be put in a queue. Many customers come after work on weekdays, so aiming for an earlier time might be best.
If you take this flyer with you on your first visit, you can enjoy a rate of ¥1200/hour (weekends too!) which is cheaper than the usual rate! You can find them next to the shop sign on the first floor of the building, so do not
