Smoking on the street is prohibited everywhere in Akihabara, which makes it hard for smokers to enjoy a cigarette when they’re in town. This place has completely separate smoking and non-smoking areas, so that both smokers and non-smokers can enjoy perfect comfort. What’s more, it’s near the station and has a varied food menu, which makes this a very handy place to know about.
Hot dogs are the main focus of the menu, with a wide selection ranging from standard to novelty varieties available. It is possible to order any item on the menu together with a drink for a set price.
The drinks menu, which is displayed in English.
The non-smoking area, located in the basement.
The second floor and mezzanine floor make up the smoking area. Nice and spacious.
“Yuzu tea” (¥550 before tax). Made with a generous helping of jam, which contains yuzu peel.
“Rice cake cheese (mochi) dog” (¥700 before tax). This hot dog variety contains “mochi” (sticky rice cake) in place of the “dog”, and is topped with a generous helping of cheese.
It’s served with even more cheese, this time in the form of grilled cheese, on on either side of the bread, and accompanied by potato chips and a biscuit.
The “mochi” and cheese in between the bread, with pizza sauce - quite a voluminous dish!
This place has lots of non-Japanese customers, and the walls are decorated with bills used by those customers all around the world. A sight you can only see in Akihabara, a town which has fans from all corners of the globe.
