Hanko, Japanese traditional name stamp, is one of the daily necessities for Japanese people. Foe example, when Japanese people make a contract, they use hanko instead of signature like most people in other countries do.
Hanya Ikkoku-Dou is the hanko shop gives many options of letters and materials. You can order less than 4 characters from 540yen and it doesn’t take more than hours until you get it. (If you order more than five characters, it starts from 980yen. It will take more than 2hours and up to 2 weeks.) In the shop, you can order and the characters will be engraved by the special machine.
Let’s say ‘Please make ‘BEACON’ into kanji! ’. Then, this is what we got. BEACON was changed into美威魂. With shuniku, Japanese red ink (sold separately), you can have a stamp like this.
